Jose Aldo talks about Conor McGregor’s drunk tales

Jose Aldo is a former Featherweight champion, with a record of defending his title seven times. In a recent Brazilian podcast with Connect cast, Aldo revealed about McGregor and how their fight affected him.

The champion shared that losing that way to McGregor impacted him deeply. He said, “Demotivated me a lot.”

While describing The Notorious, Aldo stated that McGregor is a fan of Alcohol, by revealing, “The guy drinks a lot.”

He comically added, “F**k yeah, he probably even likes to drink gasoline.”

While laughing about it, Aldo started sharing a story, explaining how drunk The Dubliner gets. He iterated, “Bro, he would call our private jet completely drunk, just talking s**t. F**k, it was so funny.”

Aldo shares a good laugh recollecting those funny moments. But, Aldo gave McGregor credit for being “a good person”. The Featherweight legend further added that The Irish superstar, understands the other person really well.  “Junior Mac” appreciated the vision McGregor has, that led him to be as successful as he has been.

Jose Aldo shared a few words about the fight against Conor McGregor, which was hugely anticipated at the time.

The “Scarface” handed it to McGregor saying, “It was his merit,” that won him the fight. The key factor in McGregor landing the knockout punch, according to Jose Aldo was “Like it or not…He has more reach than me.”

The Build-up to the fight was extreme. Many had their predictions of how the fight was going to end, but McGregor defied everyone’s expectations. The Notorious delivered a knock-out punch to Aldo in 13 seconds of the first round.
