Former UFC dual division champion Daniel Cormier recently posted an emotional throwback picture of his kids standing by him after his titular loss against Stipe Miocic at UFC 241. The former fighter-turned analyst took to Twitter and shared his thoughts on the same alongside the image.
Cormier had entered that match in order to defend his heavyweight gold against Miocic after claiming the gold a year back against the same fighter. The Ohio native stopped ‘DC’ after a flurry of punches to reclaim his gold.
Cormier, in his Twitter post, wrote, “The strength of kids is truly amazing! This was after I lost to Stipe in Anaheim, my kids watched me charge out ahead to see me ultimately fall short. Every time I lost I was a mess, but for as sad as they were they tried to make Dad feel better. My Dan and Keke!”

Despite being at a disadvantage during his fights because of his height and reach, he displayed his sharp wrestling and striking capabilities to cover up those aspects.

Daniel Cormier speaks his mind about who could beat Ciryl Gane
Cormier is a light heavyweight and heavyweight great. He knows how difficult it is to survive in the most dangerous divisions the promotion offers. But there is one fighter who has shown an entirely unique approach when it comes to the heavyweight division. He is none other than Ciryl Gane.
Gane has really impressed the former dual-division champ. According to the latter, it would be hard for anyone to stop the Frenchman. But the American also names a fighter who could trouble the swift-moving heavyweight.
