Just five months into the year, MMA fans have unfortunately witnessed the downfall of some of the most fan-favorite fighters in the UFC. The likes of Tony Ferguson and Donald Cerrone have slumped into multiple fight losing streaks which is not good news. More often than not, the promotion lets go of fighters who are on the older side and have failed to win fights in multiple attempts.
Most recently, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu wiz and UFC veteran Ronaldo ‘Jacare’ Souza (2-6 in his last 8) was released from the UFC. This marked the end of a journey that started in May 2013 when the Brazilian made his promotional debut.
