Although the Las Vegas Grand Prix qualifier was already star-studded, guess who decided to make a surprise pit stop? None other than Adele! However, her visit turned to much more than just ‘her son’s favorite sports event.’ The British singer was smitten with the high-speed action and found a potential new hobby.

Even McLaren’s social media team caught the vibe and joined the fun, posting photos of Adele at the event and cheekily captioning them, “Rumour has it, the one and only @Adele loves papaya.” Undoubtedly, the fans loved her presence, and she also became the hype along with Max Verstappen’s fourth title chase.

The ‘Hello’ singer herself couldn’t stop gushing about the experience. After all, she found a new “hobby.” During her 99th “Weekends With Adele” residency show, she said, “I had the time of my life. I’m now a Formula 1 fan—I found my hobby! I’ve been so nervous about going on a break after tomorrow night. Like, what am I gonna do with myself other than day drink, you know? I need a real hobby!

Well, she joked about being afraid of falling into a routine of day drinking with all the free time she’ll have once she goes on hiatus. After two years and 100 shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, the Grammy-winning star is ready to move on. And she didn’t sugarcoat her emotions about it either.

“This really is the beginning of the end. There are no other f—ing shows. I’m not going to be like, ‘Surprise!’ This is the end,” she said during a recent performance. Adele admitted that the residency had been a lifeline during a transformative period in her personal life, saying, “My life is a thousand times better—not my career, not my music, but my actual life. This show has been my best f—ing friend.”

The final performance is set for November 23, 2024, marking a bittersweet end to an iconic run. After that, Adele plans to trade the dazzling lights of Vegas for a quieter life in Beverly Hills, where she and fiancé Rich Paul have been pouring their hearts (and a reported $58 million) into their dream home.

Adele moves in with fiancé Rich Paul to a $58 Million mansion

Adele and Rich Paul are stepping into their new life together in a Beverly Hills mansion that was once owned by Sylvester Stallone. Purchased in early 2022, the house is undergoing extensive renovations to fit the couple’s vision of a forever home. According to TMZ, the renovations include knocking down walls and even removing the second floor to reimagine the space completely.

However, before the makeover, the estate featured two floors, a wraparound balcony, and a covered terrace with decorative columns. Well, now? It’s getting the full Adele-and-Rich treatment.

Moreover, the singer’s current home isn’t far from this property, but she wanted something bigger for a new phase in her life.

With her Las Vegas residency wrapped up and her schedule opening up, she will probably relax and maybe, just maybe, plan a family, as she jokingly said on her 2022 Graham Norton appearance, ‘I want a baby next year.’ While more than a year has passed since this comment, this well-deserved break could be her time for an addition to the family. While she might not be belting out hits in Vegas anytime soon, don’t be surprised if you spot her trackside at more Formula 1 races.
