WATCH: Ferrari Pit Crew Member Dozes Off During 24 Hours of Le Mans

This past weekend saw one of the most iconic races in motorsports – the Le Mans race, a twenty-four race around the French track. It is, without a doubt, one of the most tiring races for drivers and crew members.

Sometimes, that fatigue catches up with people, and they take a moment to rest, and some of them take a full nap!

While teams were motivating their drivers to gain some position in the nerve-racking racking race. A member of the Italian team was caught sleeping in his chair while the rest of the crew was watching the race. After being shaken up by a team member, he finally got up and gave a smile.

It is understandable that he felt like dozing off, as he was helping his team through the course of a 24-hour race. After being shaken up his team members, he would surely pay full attention to the intense race.

A day to forget for Ferrari

The Italian team suffered defeat at the iconic race in France this past weekend. As the Toyota team took home first and second place, Alpine settled for third place.

None of Ferrari’s team at Le Mans crossed made into the top ten. The best result of the Scuderia is when they crossed the line at 20th place with 26 laps down.

Hence, the Italian team would like to forget their time at Le Mans and hope to bounce back and get better results next year. With a pool of talent to select from, Ferrari will hope to redeem themselves at the next edition of the endurance race.

For now, the Scuderia must focus on what they could have done better, and learn from their mistakes. They would hope to have their name on the trophy next year and bring back the glory days of the iconic race to the team.
