Manchester United winger Luis Nani is set to join Turkish side Fenerbahce after both clubs officially entered negotiations to broker a deal. Sources claim the fee invloved should be around £4.25 million. The 28-year-old Portuguese international will now head to Istanbul on Sunday to undergo a medical.

The Istanbul based outfit released an official statement which read :

“Fenerbahce has begun talks with Luis Nani and his club Manchester United to transfer the player. Nani will be in Istanbul on Sunday for a medical check up.”

Nani  won many trophies during his time at Old Trafford including four Premier League titles and one Champions League trophy. He signed a five-year contract extension in 2013 but Louis van Gaal has been keen to offload the winger ever since he took over.
