Although she is at the bottom of that list, the youngster has the ball in her court to extend her winning run and climb up the table. American legend Venus Williams is at the top followed by her sister Serena. Venus won 35 matches in a row during the 2000 season, while Serena won 34 matches during the 2013 season.
Although the sisters have placed their name on more than one occasion, other greats such as Justine Henin and Victoria Azarenka have earned their spots too. During the 2007-08 season, Henin won 34 matches, whereas Azarenka won 26 matches during the 2012 season. The great Belgian has her name in the record book on two instances, the other being in 2005 when she won 24 matches in a row.
