Dale Jr was quite insistent on getting to the real motive behind this Garage 56 program. In fact, he approached Chad Knaus seeking the answer. The 51-year-old enthusiastically said, “We want to try to really showcase what NASCAR cars are capable of doing and put that out there in front of the world to see it. I think we have a reputation for being a non-technical sport. And F1 is highly technical which it is, we all understand that.

The Garage 56 program manager added, “But quite honestly I think people once they see what we have done with the car, see how we build the car, they are gonna realize that the technology in NASCAR racing is pretty amazing. That’s what we really wanna do.”
