Mars has sponsored Kyle Busch for a very long time. 15 years to be exact. Fortunately, he had great relations with his primary sponsor, and that gave him plenty of money, and more importantly, the freedom to be the same Kyle Busch you either love or hate for the past 15 years. However, that has ended, and the effect it has on Busch’s attitude is clear.

In fact, Joe Gibbs Racing’s partners, 23XI Racing, feel so.

Bubba Wallace’s spotter Freddie Kraft appeared on a recent episode of Door, Bumper, Clear! where he talked about the two-time Cup Series driver’s infamous attitude. More specifically, how M&M’s exit has changed it. Because now he is on a hunt to find another sponsor to fill that financial void in Busch and JGR’s pocket.

Kraft said, “M&M has afforded Kyle the opportunity to do a lot of things, say a lot of things, kinda act however he wanted to act for a long time. And that’s gone now, and he’s feeling the effects of it.”

Of course, the spotter also believes that he will change his attitude because he’s not finding another full-time sponsor. He explained, “I don’t think anybody’s got a full-time deal. Wherever he ends up next year, that’s what his deal’s gonna look like. You’re not gonna find a $20 million sponsor between now and February.”

Basically, Kraft is trying to explain that Busch will probably not find a full-time primary sponsor anymore. And he will have to adopt multiple sponsors like Chase Elliott and Denny Hamlin have. Of course, that directly means he will have to be careful about what he does and what he said. Because now he has multiple sponsors to keep happy.

Is Kyle Busch out of luck in finding a sponsor?

He’s certainly not out of luck. Because time has taught us, that we can never predict NASCAR. Especially when the stakes are as high as they are in every Cup Series season. So all we can do is remain hopeful that something or someone comes through with a golden apple and hands it to the #18 team.

But that being said, so far, there has been little to no happy news regarding Busch’s future. Unfortunately, the only rumors we have seen are of his possible landing spots if a deal doesn’t come through. Because Papa Gibbs might not give him a contract without s sponsor.
