WATCH: Chase Elliott Is Welcomed Home As He Visits The College Football Hall Of Fame

Chase Elliott might be one of the greatest NASCAR drivers of our generation, but outside the sport, Chase Elliott is a big fan of College Football. And recently, he got to experience something special ahead of Road America as the Hendrick Motorsports’ golden boy visited the College Football Hall of Fame.

The Georgia-native driver went to the college football hall of fame to meet his fans. He was also there to celebrate the Georgia Champions. In fact, he had his 2020 Cup Series trophy sat with other important trophies of the state of Georgia.

In his state, Elliott likes to be seen as no different from others as he said, “I’m no different from anyone else. I’m just a guy that loves to see the Braves do good and loves to see Georgia win too.”

It’s great how the driver has so much love for his state and College Football!

Chase Elliott Admits They Have Work To Do On Road Courses

The community knows Elliott as the king of road courses. However, road courses so far in the 2022 season have not been nice to the 2020 Cup Series Champion.

Ahead of the race at Road America, Chase Elliott reveals that the #9 team hasn’t got the road course package where he likes. He said, “We definitely haven’t gotten the car driving exactly like I want. We haven’t optimized every aspect of a road-race setup,”

Moreover, he feels that the strategies haven’t been the best either as he said, “Or a road-race event from the strategy side of it to being able to pit the car like we want to, to having the exact balance. Hopefully, we get there, but I still think we have some work to do.”

Now all his fans can do is hope that the driver gets a perfect setup for the weekend.
