Chase Elliott Leaves Fans Confused As He Takes A Shot At NASCAR’s Big Announcement

The 2023 Cup Series Calendar is finally out. And the long-awaited Chicago Street race is confirmed. However the next season will now have more race weekends than before, and Chase Elliott has a 7-word response that might baffle you.

But what the 2020 Cup Series champion said left plenty of fans confused.

The 2023 Season of the NASCAR Cup Series will feature 38 race weekends, compared to 2022’s 36. On top of that, it seems like there are fewer night races than before. Now, what you feel about that move is on you, and we would love to know what you feel about that move in the comments. But the Regular Season Champion quoted NASCAR’s tweet, as he gave his two cents on the matter.

The tweet seems to have a sarcastic tone, as he says less = more. Moreover, he also said he likes night races “too”, possibly in response to fans who asked for more night races. But we can’t know for sure till we hear from Elliott himself. It sure is a pretty confusing Tweet, and that’s exactly how the fans feel, too.

Less races creating more demand seems to work fantastically for F1. I’m sure you all really enjoy all these 3PM races while car temps are 130+.
Night races should be the Coke 600-Southern 500 if for no other reason than driver/fan comfort and travel. Plus running Sunday rainouts
