There aren’t many pleasures in life that can match culinary ones. And even highly motivated athletes have their cheat days. Whether it’s having a cup of exquisite wine or a ham & cheese sandwich, no one can deny the tantalizing appeal of tasty cuisines. Not even NASCAR drivers. And certainly not Tony Stewart.

Tony Stewart gets laughed off by others as a NASCAR broadcaster hurls a friendly jab at him

The co-owner of Stewart-Haas Racing, Tony Stewart has always been known for his love for food and beer. Over the years, he tried his hands at different forms of regimens and dietary practices to get into shape but in vain. But recently the former driver seems to have gotten back in shape. He spilled the beans on how he lost weight when he appeared on The Dale Jr. Download podcast.

Stewart revealed that he had taken shots of Ozempic under medical supervision which has helped him to reduce his weight significantly. Stewart told Dale Earnhardt Jr, “It helps you lose weight so what it does is it curbs your appetite. Like I went for 27 hours, still wasn’t hungry and I’m like why am I tired & why do I have this massive headache … ’cause I haven’t ate.”

And now the NHRA team owner flaunts a leaner figure as compared to earlier. This resulted in him being subjected to a friendly jab from Clint Bowyer during the race in Talladega. This was after a cutout of the driver was put out on the paddock along with a red overcoat covering the cutout.

After seeing the cutout, Stewart himself pointed at it ecstatically and expressed the fact, “I love my weight loss program. I am getting skinny.”

Hearing this Clint Bowyer shouted at Stewart, “Hey! That thing still fits,” as everyone on the scene burst out laughing.

The caption also read, “Real Tony Cardboard cutout [handshake emoji] Tony. @chasebriscoe_14 showed some tough love to the boss at Talladega earlier this season. We’re glad @tsrsmoke has a good sense of humor!”

Others also wrote, “Put Tony back in the 14/ Tony is happily in @nhra now! Don’t kill his vibe!”

“Hey, there’s @kellycrandall walking beside ole Smoke.”

It was surely amusing to see how the NASCAR veteran took the jab from the FOX broadcaster and also from his driver. This asserts the fact NASCAR is not always a serious sport, where everybody is running at each other’s heels. Often enough, healthy competition along with some friendly vibes come to the rescue.
