The holiday season is in full swing and the NASCAR community is spending valuable time with their families. There have been several pictures posted online by drivers, team owners, crew chiefs, and insiders celebrating Christmas and the year’s end. However, Dale Earnhardt Jr does not seem to have clicked a picture with his wife Amy Earnhardt so far this season. As a result, she was quick to take a sarcastic dig at her husband on Instagram.
Amy Earnhardt’s veiled dig was actually wholesome
Junior recently revealed that he had been celebrating Christmas with two sets of people. First, he visited his wife’s side of the family in Texas before spending time with his brother and sister. Junior had even shared a picture with his side of the family and attached a heartfelt message as well.

“Celebrating Christmas Eve with my brother and sister is always a great time. And this Queen song kicks ass. I have a radio in the garage that constantly plays a local station, Christmas music all this month. It’ll move back to regular programming in a few days and I’ll miss it. Till this time next year. As a kid, Christmas was everything and now as a father/husband this holiday is eagerly anticipated again,” the 49-year-old wrote on Instagram.

However, he did not seem to get the time to take a picture with Amy Earnhardt. It turns out that both husband and wife are avid football fans. And what is a common activity of an avid football fan? Fantasy football. With the NFL season inching towards its conclusion, both Dale Jr and Amy Earnhardt picked their respective fantasy football teams.
