The burning question that is making rounds, is whether the victory of Denny Hamlin is justified or not. Fans are clearly divided on the contentious win; while many deem the victory hard-earned and long-deserved, for many it was at the cost of a fellow driver and friend, Kyle Larson.
While there are justifications from both sides, there is no denying the fact that everything is justified during the race. Although the driver may have been subjected to the boos of the livid fans, Denny Hamlin did put on a stellar show as he earned each and every position on the track.
Amidst all the bickering regarding the 50th career win for Hamlin, it seems that he has found a new ally, and it is none other than the Herminator, Kenny Wallace.

Kenny Wallace sides with Denny Hamlin and justifies his action after the Pocono victory
It is a known fact that the veteran driver has blatantly stated the facts whenever a controversy has cropped up in the world of NASCAR and has often zested up the situations through his eccentric touch. Whether it was Ross Chastain or Chase Elliott, the former NASCAR driver does not let any situation pass under his nose unnoticed, and owing to the fact that he gave his meaningful touch to the latest incident that is causing a ruckus within the NASCAR community,
In the latest episode of his eponymous show, Kenny Wallace laid bare the fact that Denny Hamlin’s win was surely justified and that there was no sign of foul play in the race. Wallace expressed, “You don’t like Denny Hamlin because he drives for Toyota. I caught the same grief because I was with Toyota for seven years, that’s my disclaimer. You don’t like Denny Hamlin because he has got a talk show called Actions Detrimental, so remember the more you run the mouths the more opportunities you would have to get yourself in trouble.”
“Now, Denny Hamlin is going to give you quotes and that’s what you want. Hey, this Denny Hamlin is Darrell Waltrip Jr, Jaws Walter, run that mouth and win on the racetrack. Daryl Waltrip Jr 3 time Cup champion, 70-something wins and could run that mouth. I am going to tell you that’s a rare deal, that’s very rare to run your mouth and win that much at the highest form of motorsports in America”, Wallace further added.

NASCAR enthusiasts are surely livid with the incident, they even flipped the bird, when the No. 11 Toyota crossed the start-finish line ahead of everyone else on the grid. Furthermore, the driver also posted pictures of the fans shunning him over his victory and gave his own approach to the whole incident.
Nevertheless, Wallace continued along the same lines, “I mean we have all talked about it here, Formula 1 is number one because they can put their cars in containers and race in different countries, NASCAR’s number two, but I would tell you there’s no other bigger form of full-bodied motorsports in the world, NASCAR is number one.”

“Denny Hamlin didn’t do anything wrong, he was going for the win his air bubble pushed Kyle Larson into the wall. So a lot of you don’t like him because he runs the mouth like the Herminator, we need him because he is a Hall of Famer. I don’t want to hear that he hasn’t won a championship that’s all, it’s like saying Mark Martin was no good because he never won a championship.”
“Let me tell you something about the NASCAR championships, they are only meant to be. It’s not going to make or break somebody’s career. Do you want a championship, oh hell yeah, but what better 27 wins in the Cup Series or 50 wins, that’s what I thought. Denny Hamlin is coming in rare air right now,” Wallace concluded.
