It looks like Denny Hamlin might have figured out a quirky way to get a feel of winning a championship – even if it’s not in his usual race series. In a playful move, he recently hit Twitter with a photo of the trophy won by Ben Rhodes in the Truck series. He cheekily scratched out Rhodes’ name and scribbled his own on it!

This witty move by Hamlin really got the fans talking and chuckling. They were left in stitches, tossing out all sorts of questions and even poking a bit of fun at Hamlin’s antics. Well, it’s Hamlin, anyway, who knows how to stir up some lighthearted banter among his followers.

On his Actions Detrimental podcast, Hamlin talked about the secret to clinching a championship, saying, “You gotta just be good at Phoenix now.” He mused, “I mean, is that the new riddle to the championship? It appears that riddle works. It’s just, focus on a couple of races.” But even after figuring out the championship formula, Hamlin recently came up with a cheeky shortcut: just erase the champion’s name and replace it with your own. Looks like a little bit of editing wizardry is all it takes these days!

He tweeted the picture, featuring the NASCAR Truck Series Cup with the caption, “New hardware just got delivered. #iamachampion,”. In a playful jab, he had overwritten Ben Rhodes’s name with his own. Fans jumped in on the fun in Hamlin’s comments section, adding to the jest.

As for Ben Rhodes, he hasn’t responded to the post yet, but fans are eagerly awaiting his comeback. After all, he didn’t just stumble into the title; he fought hard and played it smart.
