Even though the 2-time Cup Series champion, Joey Logano, met his match, getting ousted in the first playoff eliminator, his teammate Ryan Blaney avenged the #22’s loss, bringing the Cup back to the Team Penske camp. It was a sigh of relief for Logano to see his teammate return the title to the Ford camp while he failed to defend it.

However, the 33-year-old isn’t letting the 2023 disappointment get to his head and is looking forward to the 2024 season. Recently, he shared a social media post complimenting his primary sponsor as he takes a tour of the F1 world along with Ferarri ace drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz Jr as NASCAR & Formula 1 join hands for a crossover.

Fans love crossovers, especially when 2 giants come together for a major collaboration. This year, especially, is a massive one for NASCAR fans as the organization featured its inaugural street course, which was a melting pot of talents, bringing drivers across the globe to Chicago. The Stock Car Racing promotion also ventured into the world of endurance racing, fielding its Cup Series Chevrolet at the coveted 24 hours of Le Mans, marking its official entry with its Garage 56 project.

Now with the end of its top series, the Cup Series, it looks like the NASCAR world and F1 world have collided to give fans yet another collaboration. This time, Joey Logano and team Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz Jr join hands as they take the Cup Series champ for a brief tour ahead of the highly anticipated Vegas GP.

Logano praises Ford for the out-of-the-box idea for “Race to the Clouds”

Despite the early setback in NASCAR with the Toyotas and Chevrolets getting the initial momentum, the Fords came right back stronger than ever, sweeping titles across all 3 factions of the organization. This includes Ben Rhodes’ 2nd title in the Truck Series, Cole Custer and SHR’s first-ever title in the Xfinity Series, and Ryan Blaney’s monumental win in the Cup Series.

Not long after the all-American manufacturer’s landslide win, Ford unveiled its secret weapon, specifically designed for the dreaded Pikes Peak hill climb. The 12.42-mile course features 156 turns and an elevation gain of 4,725 feet, making it one of the most dangerous courses, if not the most dangerous one in the world. And guess what Ford has rolled out?

A 1,400 hp Transit van that has already trounced the competition setting the record for the fastest time. The EV named Supervan 4.3 completed the course in 8 minutes and 47.682 seconds in June 2023, beating the previous Open division record of nine minutes and 24.433 seconds set in 2019. Logano also shared the short clip on his “X” handle, blown away by the van’s capabilities, seeing the manufacturer rack up milestones.
