Ahead of the start of the 2023 season, NASCAR decided to implement a major change with road course races. The change is the exclusion of stage breaks. So instead of slowing down like they previously did, they’d just continue on. So after the conclusion of the first road course race of the season at COTA, former NASCAR driver, Dale Earnhardt Jr, shared his thoughts about this change.

During his conversation, he also mentioned Tyler Reddick and how amazing his performance was during the race. Moreover, he also asked NASCAR to include several more changes in the races to make them more interesting. Referencing the likes of IndyCar and Formula 1, to justify his point.

He went on to talk about Tyler Reddick and how fast he was during the race, while also appreciating the two-stop strategy used by most people. Elaborating on the 23XI Racing driver, Junior said, “Tyler Reddick was so fast, he could make three stops and still beat the field.”
