Unlike traditional NASCAR ovals, the Chicago Street Race Course is situated on city streets, rife with imperfections and bumps. Furthermore, the presence of a bridge in the latter corners of the course adds an extra layer of difficulty, making it tricky for drivers to accurately judge their braking points.
