Unlike traditional NASCAR ovals, the Chicago Street Race Course is situated on city streets, rife with imperfections and bumps. Furthermore, the presence of a bridge in the latter corners of the course adds an extra layer of difficulty, making it tricky for drivers to accurately judge their braking points. According to Steve Letarte, the track’s characteristics are likely to contribute to a mix of accidents and unpredictable outcomes throughout the race.

Steve Letarte Predicts NASCAR’s Unexpected Turns of Events
The upcoming NASCAR race is generating significant excitement. Despite the high ticket prices, reports indicate that over fifty thousand fans will be present to witness this historical moment. What’s even more noteworthy is that 70 percent of these attendees are new fans who will be experiencing their very first NASCAR race.
As Steve Letarte rightly stated, the race is set to be a thrilling and chaotic spectacle, as is often the case in NASCAR. In a video posted on Instagram by Dirty Mo Media, Letarte predicted that the race will be challenging and filled with unpredictable moments.
HMS insider stated, “I think we’re gonna have a big moment in this race. I think everyone’s going to start like this is narrow and the walls are close. We’re going to be real nice, and we’re going to do this, and we’re going to do that. We’re going to get through a couple of stages and then somewhere with 15 to go, somebody is going to be out on older tires, somebody on newer tires going to be running down.”

“They’re going to be faster. And there’s gonna be a moment where that leader is going to decide how much he wants it. I’m going to tell you he’s going to want it too much. We’re going to show Chicago what a NASCAR big issue looks like. […] And somebody is going to block and he’s going to get stuffed. I think it’s going to be impressive.

“I could be wrong, but I think we’re going to have a big moment in one of these races.
“If we are going to come to Chicago, let’s do it Nascar Style,” Letarte concluded.
