Denny Hamlin and Alex Bowman have been meeting quite frequently in recent news. Albeit, on the track. After 2021 Martinsville and Chicago this past week, the two drivers have faced off yet again at Atlanta. With only six laps to the end of stage two on the 156th lap, Bowman chipped the #11 and sent him spinning into the wall. This also affected Bowman, who got tagged in return.

Well, Denny was in no mood for criticism after the race as he expressed his frustration on Twitter. Replying to a critic who abruptly accuses him of showing destructive tendencies in the race, he uses one of rival Kyle Busch’s sponsors to add some sarcasm to it.

Denny Hamlin Slams Fake Accusations With a 3Chi Reference

The fan took to twitter to write, “Wow @dennyhamlin driving like the hack tonight. At least 3 people he’s run flat over including Harv.” And the  Joe Gibbs Racingdriver had no idea who the Twitter user @BuckJr53  was referring to.

Calling the fan out for referring to the wrong 3, he tweeted, “Wait what? Who?

How much 3Chi have y’all had?”

3CHI is a company that manufactures hemp derivative products. Hamlin guesses that probably the critic was under the influence of some of the 3Chi products that altered his opinion. The opinion comes as a surprise mainly because Hamlin was rather the victim of unruly driving after his incident with Bowman. Having to dodge cars to prevent his own from wrecking, Hamlin did not entertain any humor.

3Chi have joined the Richard Childress Racing team as a sponsor for Busch, their latest addition. The organization has tied up with Rowdy for a select few Cup races that include the Daytona 500.

As for Hamlin and Bowman, they collide for the second time in two weeks after their corner contact in Chicago. Going back in time a bit further, one could recall Hamlin’s comments towards Bowman last year at Martinsville that called him a ‘hack’.

Fans Are in Awe of Hamlin’s Witty Reply

The sarcastic reply has created a much buzz in the community. While the fandom as usual has formed factions, some others have been left amazed by the bold move by Hamlin. Expressing his shock at the critic’s words, a fan also points out Hamlin’s ability to dodge cars amid ruckus.

“I mean. If anything. Denny should get the “Holy Shit How Did He Avoid That” award. His wreck avoidance (not including the 48) was set to expert tonight” tweets the fan.

“Here I came to the commentary to see who, cause NBC had a lot of Denny on board views of him dodging everyone else wrecking…probably need some 3Chi since I don’t recall him running over anyone…” said another Hamlin fan showing his support for the 23XI owner.

A certain fan was quick to remind Hamlin of his major involvement in such incidents previously,

“Denny you would have to admit in your career you’ve cause a lot of accidents or at least screwed other cars up? I can think of 6 right away. It will be ok you can admit it they all weren’t on purpose.”

Another hilarious dig at the critic described a scenario involving some alcohol. “Buck probably had too much to drink. I know plenty of fans around me did.”
