“I’ll Probably Start Crying..”: Bubba Wallace Nears Personal Milestone as NASCAR Community Prepares for “Exciting Times”

Bubba Wallace is possibly the most loved and the most hated driver on the NASCAR circuit at the moment. While there are various reasons for all the love (and the hate) he gets, regardless of where a fan stands on that spectrum, they love to know what is going on in his life.

Among the biggest updates in Bubba Wallace’s life has been his taking the next step with his partner, Amanda Carter. With the off-season going on, it was probably the only time possible for the couple to make that step in their journey and they have decided to do so.

Carter and Bubba have been dating for over 6 years now, and have been thinking about a wedding for a long while. In an interview with People magazine in July, Bubba said, “The wedding is going to be on New Year’s Eve, and we’re excited about that. We were able to go to one wedding on New Year’s Eve and really enjoyed it.”

Carter has been an instrumental part of Bubba’s life. He told People, “I’m not sure what I would do without her. I really don’t. Right now I can tell you no [that he won’t cry when Carter walks down the aisle] because I’m all chill. But yeah, standing up there, I’ll probably start crying and won’t be able to stop.”

As planned, the couple has finally reached their destination. All the planning and wishful thinking will finally come to fruition. 

The couple posted a picture from their engagement, titled “10…9…8…7…6…5…4…3…2…1 Day days until we say I do! #engaged #weddingcountdown #wedding #engagementpictures”

Fans loved seeing the couple finally get what they were hoping for. One fan wrote, “Exciting times!! Congratulations to you both. Such a magical time of year. Enjoy all of the festivities leading up to the big day. Looking forward to seeing the pictures. Best wishes for a long happy marriage.”

Another well-wisher commented, “Yay so excited! 🎉❤️ so happy to see you both happy! best wishes!” A number of fans congratulated the couple on the milestone, “Congratulations 🎉 I know it’s getting hectic with making sure all the details are worked out.” 

“Looking forward to the wedding photos! 🥰,” said another excited fan.
