Amidst the team’s underwhelming season that saw a major shift with LMC going to Toyota leaving Johnson’s longtime partner and manufacturer that earned him multiple titles, Chevrolet, the 7-time Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson and his crew did not forget to give one back to the community in the form of a wholesome wish.

Besides Erik Jones who finished the season 27th with just 1 top-5 finish, the team hasn’t done anything significant this season. This along with rookie sensation Noah Gragson’s infamous termination from the team prompted officials to look for a worthy replacement which they found in Xfinity Series sensation, John Hunter Nemechek.

The 26-year-old also joined his boss and teammate to convey his wishes. Johnson who was seen cycling in Hyde Park, London said, “Greeting from London, Hyde Park. Just want to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving. I hope you have the best time with family and friends and have an awesome celebration.” LMC team ambassador, Petty also joined in, wishing, “Happy Thanksgiving and thank you for your support”, while Jones, a Michigan native was spotted supporting the Detroit Lions when he shared the message.

One take at a time

Picture this: a fast & well set-up car roaring its V8 glory, zipping through the country roads. I’m the sort of person who’ll be instantly drawn to something like that. While major racing promotions have stepped closer to the EV revolution, NASCAR still has their V8s singing its tune, which got me into the world of Stock Car Racing.
