Until and unless one is living under the stone, or is abstaining from the latest news that is making rounds, they know it is none other than the concern of global warming and climate change which is the biggest threat that all the governments of the world are facing. There have been endless summits and signing of treaties in order to curb the emission of carbon in the atmosphere. The governments also levied taxes on fossil fuels in order to reduce their usage and control the rising temperature of the atmosphere and strive toward a sustainable economy.

While global warming is a matter of great concern, not everyone is happy about the fact of how it is tackled with. Especially the levying of taxes. People have been vocal about the fact and among them also lies the voice of the former NASCAR driver, Danica Patrick.

In order to delve deeper, one has to comprehend the relationship between climate policies and taxation, and the bridge between the two being carbon tax. According to Time magazine, carbon taxes has been “the favorite climate policy tool by economists, require polluters to pay for the carbon they emit, pushing big companies to decarbonize while also raising money that can be used for anything from building clean energy projects to helping workers adjust to the transition.

And the former IndyCar driver, Danica Patrick, reposted one story, exposing her concerns on the rise of taxes under the veil of climate change on her Instagram profile.

The post was originally posted by Robert Breedlove, where he highlighted the facts about how taxes have increased after being linked with global warming. He also added the caption, “All lies told to justify more theft. “Climate change” is just the latest chapter of deceit. “Everything the state says is a lie, everything it has is stolen—Nietzsche”

The second image of the post, which Patrick shared on her story, read:
“1960s – Oil gone in 10 years
1970s – Another Ice Age in 10 yrs
1980s – Acid Rain will destroy all crops in 10 Yrs.
1990s – The Ozone layer will be gone in 10 years
2000s – Ice caps will be gone in 10 yrs
NONE HAPPENED: but all resulted in MORE TAXES”
