The first half of the season clearly favored Toyota and Chevrolet teams, with Ford Mustang securing only one win, courtesy of defending champion Joey Logano. However, a significant shift occurred in the latter half of the season. Among the Ford winners, including Joey Logano, Ryan Blaney, and Michael McDowell, one name emerged as the unexpected star: Chris Buescher. This underdog had only managed to win two races before this season. But in the last 6 races, he managed 3 wins alone. Still, the NASCAR Veteran doesn’t seem impressed.

Interestingly, it became evident that Brad Keselowski’s involvement with RFK Racing played a crucial role in their improved performance. Despite making the most of it, Chris Buescher faced criticism from a driver who had some bitter words to share.

Despite missing the playoffs last year, Chris Buescher showcased his talent by leading a race-high 169 laps and securing his second career win at the Bristol night race. However, the focus quickly shifted to the playoffs following Buescher’s victory.

Interestingly, NASCAR’s 75th-anniversary celebration turned into a dream season for Brad Keselowski’s driver, who managed to clinch three wins and achieve seven top-5 finishes. Notably, all three of his wins came in the last few races of the season. Despite this impressive achievement, Kenny Wallace expressed surprising criticism against the #17 driver.

Kenny Wallace was discussing the results of the Darlington race during his show, and when he noticed, “ Kyle Larson wins the race Tyler Reddick second Buescher’s finished third, this guy is unbelievable. He’s not a superstar because all he does is win, I love Chris Buescher but he’s boring right? He’s boring.

Although Kenny Wallace didn’t specify why he referred to Chris Buescher as “boring,” it could be attributed to Buescher’s reserved demeanor during interviews or his limited interaction with the media. However, Brad Keselowski had unwavering faith in his driver and revealed his significant role in the resurgence of RFK Racing and Chris Buescher’s success.
