NASCAR fans have been buzzing with excitement this year as the Cup Series has seen its fair share of never-ending penalties and intense rivalries. The penalty system for NASCAR has always been in the spotlight, making most drivers hover with speed limits around 55 mph. The No. 9 Chevrolet Camaro driver, Chase Elliott is currently on a one-race suspension from NASCAR, surprisingly 11 places behind the No. 8 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 driver, Kyle Busch when it comes to the highest speeding penalties since 2014.

But it’s not just speeding penalties that have grabbed attention this season. The sport was rocked when Chase Elliott found himself suspended for a race after a wreck with Denny Hamlin, adding fuel to their already fiery rivalry. This caused Stewart Haas Racing a revenue penalty due to a counterfeit part found in Chase Briscoe’s car. Other teams that had to face penalties were: Kyle Busch’s team and Richard Childress Racing.
