It was through Dale Earnhardt Jr and his NASCAR team JR Motorsports that Josh Berry received his first impetus. Had Earnhardt Jr failed to recognize the talent of the 32-year-old, the world of NASCAR would have missed out on budding talent.

Nevertheless, with the deal finally being set, the Xfinity series driver is set to make his full-time debut at the Cup Series through the hands of Tony Stewart and his team, Stewart-Haas Racing. Josh Berry’s time at JR Motorsports has been so far a memorable one, as he delivered 10 top-10 finishes in the ongoing season and stands fifth in the points standing. But as he prepares himself to bid farewell to JR Motorsports, for the 2024 season, Berry is on the verge of creating a massive void within the team.

With Berry graduating to the Cup Series, Earnhardt Jr is haunted by the question: who shall replace Berry in his team?

And it seems Josh Williams has the solution to Junior’s problems.

In a tweet from the Daily Downforce, where it stated, “Now, JRM has a spot to fill in a good Xfinity ride in the #8 car with Josh Berry moving up to Cup. Who gets that chance to maybe be the next Josh Berry?”

To this, the Xfinity driver retweeted the post along with the words, “I’ll be ya Josh.”

Dale Junior and his JR Motorsports have always provided the stage that a promising driver needed. It has also nurtured Cup Series champions like Brad Keselowski, Kevin Harvick, and Tony Stewart. Though the names like Carson Hocevar and Ty Majeski have cropped up as suitable replacements, it is to be seen which driver gets the next break.
