Even though the larger conversation and aspect of wrecks during a race is always and should always be safety, it cannot be denied that wrecks, if the safety aspect is ensured, are an internal part of race entertainment. An example of this was recently on display during a NASCAR Weekly Series race. During the Weekly Series race at Hickory Motor Speedway, a big wreck unfolded at lap 32 which took out several cars, including that of Landon Huffman, the #75 driver who is sponsored by High Rock Vodka, a brand owned by Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Despite this major wreck, Huffman ended up in a rather decent position at the end of the race as he finished in 9th place. But still, the wreck was on his mind as he cracked a joke on his social media after the race on which the fans also joined in.
