“Mad” Tony Stewart Threatens NASCAR Boycott & Refuses to “Waste” His Time After Penalty for Galvanizing Kyle Larson’s Playoff Exit

If there’s one guy you don’t want to make mad right now (and in general too), it is Tony Stewart. The Stewart Haas Racing co-owner got hit by a huge, 6-figures in dollars worth of blow last week by NASCAR.

Then again, a few days after that, a bigger blow, along with accusations on top of that from the same house.

Now, if you’ve followed Stewart through any phase of his career in racing, you’d know he is one hell of a personality. ‘Smoke’, as his nickname goes, is a pretty eccentric individual who is capable of doing a lot of eccentric stuff with the natural panache of saying a lot of eccentric things.

So if you don’t know anything about the man from beforehand, look no further than his recent comments after the recent events in NASCAR.

“I’m not going to talk about it,” Stewart said of the penalties. “I’m so mad at NASCAR right now, I’m not talking about it.”

After tweeting a not-so-cryptic dig disguised in sarcasm and wit of “looking for a new hobby” for his weekends, Stewart admitted he is “super glad” he at least has his two NHRA cars to look forward to in the coming weekend.

“If it weren’t for the fact that I’ve got a couple of appearances that I have to make, I wouldn’t be in another NASCAR race the rest of the year. Wouldn’t waste my time,” he added.

Tony Stewart has dropped one appeal against their penalty

When Kevin Harvick and the #4 team were hit by the massive penalty last week, SHR immediately announced they’ll be appealing the said penalties, perhaps hoping for a similar outcome as William Byron and Hendrick Motorsports.

But now, after the second set of penalties against Cole Custer and his team, Tony Stewart’s team has decided to withdraw their appeal for the first one.

This proves all the more how frustrated the former NASCAR driver is with those sitting on the top, in decision-making chairs.
