While Hendrick Motorsports is already accustomed to what success looks like in the world of motorsports, Trackhouse Racing is steadily rising the ladder. Nonetheless, it seems that the winningest team of the Cup Series is set for a brand new collaboration as Garage 56 is ready to roar in MotoGP, which is to be headed by the 24 Hours Daytona champion Jordan Taylor. The driver is slated to make demo laps in the upcoming Austin MotoGP after an alliance with Rick Hendrick’s brainchild Garage 56.

Jordan took to Twitter to announce the news with a clip of featuring his alter ego, Rodney Sandstorm. He stated, “Garage 56  Moto GP Austin. See you Saturday at 11:30 am for some demo laps and maybe a little burnout. #MotoGP #NASCARG56 #AmericasGP #RodneySandstorm.”

Bearing witness to this iconic crossover, Trackouse Racing owner Justin Marks, was over the moon. Reposting the tweet, Marks added the words, “Really happy that @TeamHendrick @MotoGP and @jordan10taylor leaned in on this opportunity. Bringing two Motorsport worlds together in Austin this weekend!!” Apart from dominating the tracks of NASCAR, Marks made his headway into the world of MotoGP and joined the grid early in 2024.

Nevertheless, Jordan Taylor is already accustomed to both the iconic racing track of COTA and also piloting the Garage 56 car. He was roped in as the backup driver by Hendrick Motorsports for their entry in the 24 Hours of LeMans last year. While Jordan making laps in a Garage 56 car, is sure to be a treat for the eyes of the motorsports fans, on the Cup Series front Trackhouse Racing is also mired in charter rumors.

Although in its nascent stage, Trackhouse Racing’s success is already on the rise, especially after winning the final Cup Series showdown last year in Texas and signing two new successful drivers. However, to accommodate this expansion, the team requires new charters.

As a result, there have been muffled speculations that Trackhouse Racing is one such team in the garage area that is set to buy a new charter to field three cars full-time in the upcoming season. This speculation was fanned after Couch Racer posted a tweet stating, “At least two tier-one teams are looking to expand next season. Charters.”

While no official announcement was made by Justin Marks and his team, given the current rising trajectory of the team, it won’t come as a surprise if the team eventually settles for a third charter ahead of the 2025 season.
