Aero is adapted from Eero, a Finnish name meaning eternal ruler; king.

The 41-year-old Kaulig Racing driver also took to Twitter to announce it, as he wrote, “It might have taken a bit longer than we expected, but @_TaraLea and I are so thrilled to have our little boy
Aero James Allmendinger finally arrive into our family at 11:31 a.m. this morning. Momma and baby are doing amazing. Thank you to everyone that was so positive through this.”

Interestingly, AJ has also named his son Aero James, which abbreviates AJ again. This analogy has been used to fondly call the latest addition to the Allmendinger family ‘AJ Allmendinger 2.0’.
