The 2024 off-season has been memorable. Some drivers have focused on honing their art in off-season events and others have embarked on a new chapter of their lives. While stars like Anthony Alfredo and Natalie Decker welcomed their better halves, fellow Xfinity Series star Jeremy Clements has felt the joy of becoming a parent.

Announcing the good news on his X handle, Jeremy Clements shared images of him and his wife, Cortney, with their newborn, Kennedy Wren Clements. The couple had announced the tentative due date in September. With everything operating smoothly, Jeremy will hope to pass on the racing legacy of the Clements family to baby Kennedy.

Announcing the birth of his baby, Jeremy Clements tweeted, “Meet the new love of our lives, Kennedy Wren Clements! Born on January 4th, 7 pounds 15 ounces, 20 3/4.”

The announcement has sent a wave of happiness across the racing community. Fellow drivers and fans gathered to congratulate Jeremy Clements for being a father, a new step forward in his life. The good news followed another positive development for Jeremy Clements Racing, which teamed with Impel Union to give the company its first race as a primary sponsor in the 2023 Xfinity season finale.

Driving the No.51 Chevrolet Camaro for Jeremy Clements has been tough for the 38-year-old racer. Being one of the few teams in the competition to field a single car in races, the team solely depends on the engines of Clements Automotive, which has excelled in building race engines and other machinery. Jeremy has continued the legacy of his father, Tony Clements, and grandfather, Crawford, on the track and now has a new member to pass it on to.

One take at a time

I instantly fell in love with the sport as I witnessed the cars' breakneck speeds and the robust nature of the sport and its drivers. As I had a deep-rooted interest in automobiles, the sport naturally piqued my interest in a jiffy. Kyle Busch and his cutthroat style of racing played an important role in getting me hooked to stock car racing as I hopped on streams to watch him win races.
