The venturing of NASCAR in Chicago city is comparatively new, but not for the 23XI Racing owner, the NBA legend Michael Jordan.

The NASCAR community is set to witness the collision of two worlds. Michael Jordan is set to step foot in the city where he rose to prominence and went on to become one of the living legends after winning six championships. But this time fans are ready to welcome the legend not as an NBA player but as the owner of 23XI Racing. And owing to the great legacy of Jordan, Tyler Reddick is already feeling the pressure of representing the team and Micahel Jordan in Chicago. Moreover, the livery, that the #45 Toyota is set to flaunt will also feature Jordan’s Jumpman.
The former crew chief of Hendrick Motorsports has shared his thought regarding Reddick’s position in the Chicago race. He expressed, “I think Tyler Reddick has a lot of weight in him. You want to talk about having MJ as an owner, well, they unveiled the paint scheme in Chicago. It’s Jumpman on the Hood. You are in Chicago, I mean the biggest win for Tyler in his career. Don’t get me wrong, but that’s a lot of pressure.”

There is no doubt in the fact, that Tyler Reddick is an adept driver. He has shown his skills and especially on the road tracks, for which he was crowned the ‘Jesus of Road tracks’ by his teammate Bubba Wallace.

Tyler Reddick divulges on facing pressure ahead of the inaugural race
After winning at the Circuits of America, the #45 does have a good shot at winning the inaugural race and maintaining the winning streak of Michael Jordan’s legacy. While speaking to Bob Pockrass, the 23XI Racing driver stated, “Good pressure,” after being asked whether he was feeling any pressure ahead of the race.

He added, “Honestly. McDonald’s is headquartered there, here in the United States. It’s a big race for a lot of big brands that are a part of 23XI. So, going there and running well is going to be very important for 23XI, for sure.”
Tyler Reddick does have the upper hand thanks to his competitive streak. He surely is a fan favorite for winning the inaugural race. While the driver gears up to be a part of the iconic race, it will be worth watching if any of the 23XI Racing drivers take the chequered and immortalizes the name of their owner Michael Jordan.
