“No Chance” – Bubba Wallace’s Spotter Reveals the “Only Two Options” for Kyle Busch’s NASCAR Team

In the recent episode of the Door Bumper Clear podcast, Bubba Wallace’s spotter Freddie Kraft penned down the only two possibilities with the future of Kyle Busch’s truck team if he goes to Richard Childress Racing.

During their conversation, Kraft was asked if he thinks RCR would be okay with Kyle Busch’s track series team running Toyota trucks. He then stated, “No, no chance. Either KBM shuts down or they are gonna be Chevrolet next year. Those are the only two options.

Talking about whether Kyle would keep his team open or not, Kraft said, “No it’s not gonna shut down, he’s already said that he wants to keep it open because he wants for somewhere Brexton to go and he wants to race against Brexton in the Truck series vehicle.

Brexton is the son of Kyle Busch, who has been actively partaking in racing himself and Busch previously had stated that he wished to race with his son in their Truck Series team sometime in the future.

Reports suggested that Kyle Busch might have finally secured himself a contract at Richard Childress Racing for the 2023 season. This would mark his departure from Joe Gibbs racing after 15 years of driving for the team.

During his tenure as a driver for JGR, he managed to win two Cup Series championships with them and now he’ll be headed for a rival team. However, an official statement regarding his new contract should be brought forth by Tuesday. At this moment it still remains unclear as to who has taken up sponsorship roles for Busch.
