Who doesn’t covet a limited edition of Nike Jordan sneakers? For sneakerheads, the price tags hardly make a difference in their pockets, but others can only imagine what it means to own a single pair of those luxury shoes. However, not everyone seems to enjoy the hype around the sneakers. And, one such person is Dale Earnhardt Jr. Instead of gasping in wonder after watching Michael Jordan’s team drivers flaunt a new pair every race weekend, the former Cup Series driver seemed to be irked by the constant bombardment of the products and especially so by Tyler Reddick.

However, that is not the only thing the veteran finds no enjoyment in. He even talked about the 23XI driver’s social media mentioning how Reddick’s weekly scooter posts don’t sit well with him either.

Call it the burden of old age or simply ignorance, Dale Earnhardt Jr failed to comprehend Tyler Reddick’s obsession with sneakers and scooters and hilariously called out his constant updates on social media. Speaking about Reddick’s social media posts that only portray him flaunting a new pair every race weekend, Dale Jr, on his podcast, stated, “If you follow Tyler Reddick on social media you are guaranteed to get a scooter-shoe combo post every week. What’s up COTA, I’m scooting at Phoenix.”

Stating his stance around the whole scooter-sneaker post, Dale Jr asserted how scooters have never interested him, saying, “I mean they must have a scooter deal. I got these things, they are piled up everywhere. I got two or three at the house the girls are playing with, but I never had the urge to hop on one and take off.” But what might be the reason for such disinterest?

Trying to decipher that very reason, the JR Motorsports owner stated, “But I am fascinated by this. I don’t want to see them on scooters. I feel like I complain too much. Y’all don’t get that vibe. That’s the other part I am like am I turning into a f**king an old man, because I am like triggered by the scooter guys.”

And if you thought Tyler Reddick was going to tone down on his obsession after hearing a NASCAR biggie like Dale Jr talk against it, you were wrong! The driver took matter into his own hands and gave one right back to Junior on his latest social media post!

With NASCAR hitting the tracks of Richmond, the drivers seem to mark their presence on the track by posting a picture of themselves taking a stroll around the track. Tyler Reddick was no different. However, his walk around the track had a special purpose: Delivering a reply to Dale Jr’s rant.

Not long after Dale Jr talked about Tyler Reddick, the latter posted a carousel of pictures of himself with a cup of coffee in his hand, his scooter, and obviously another pair of Nike sneakers. He posted these pictures on Twitter cleverly captioning it, “Here in Richmond with the scoot. Know what I mean, @DaleJr?”

And as many would guess, Dale Earnhardt Jr didn’t take time to respond to the call-out and commented with a laughing emoticon, while his media brand Dirty Mo Media replied, “Death, taxes, and the scoot & shoe combo post.”

While the duo seem to be taking light-hearted digs at each other, we can assure you there’s definitely no bad blood between the two. Perhaps one day we could also see Tyler Reddick being able to convince Dale Earnhardt Jr to hop on a scooter ride around the tracks!
