NASCAR has just concluded its round 12 race in South Carolina. The Darlington Raceway saw Joey Logano pick up the Goodyear 400 win after a controversial finish. The Team Penske driver pushed William Byron of Hendrick Motorsports off to run through for the win.

The internet has gone wild as Logano crossed the finish line in typical fashion. Many believe that pushing someone off the race track is Joey Logano’s style. Even Byron stated after the race that Joey runs everybody over. The Hendrick driver conveyed, “I mean he runs everybody over, so I don’t see what’s different.”

However, this isn’t the only time Joey Logano has put himself into the hot waters after pushing someone on the track. The infamous brawl with Tony Stewart is a prime example of that. The Auto Club 400 of the NASCAR Cup Series race in 2013 saw Logano and Stewart push each other after the restart.

What happened between Joey Logano and Tony Stewart?

As the race got over, Tony ran over near Joey’s car to confront him about the incidents on track. Tony exchanged some heated words with Logano before some push-ins. As the altercations escalated, crews had to intervene before it could get more ugly.

Soon after the altercation got over, Joey threw a water bottle toward Tony. Tony Stewart conveyed the incident after this, “It’s time he learns a lesson. He’s run his mouth long enough and done this double standard, but he’s nothing but a little rich kid who has never had to work in his life.”

The resulted block left Tony languishing down further. In the end, Stewart finished the race in 22nd place on a track where he won twice in the last four encounters. Logano to this stated that he was just doing his job and racing hard.
