In just a couple of days, it will be Christmas time and ahead of the holiday, the Rick Ware Racing team decided to do something good for the community. Earlier this month, a devastating tornado ripped through the state of Kentucky and left many people homeless. In addition to that, it caused millions of dollars’ worth in damages.

In order to do their part, the team’s hauler made a trip to Mayfield in Kentucky for special deliveries. The hauler delivered 3053 Christmas toys for children who lost their possessions in the tornado.

The team tweeted, “Our heart breaks to see the destruction of the town, and the memorials for the lives lost. Our thoughts and prayers are with the whole community as they continue to rebuild. We truly can not thank everyone enough for the support with this toy drive. Thank you to Motor Racing Outreach& Samaritans Purse for always putting others in need as a top priority.”

They also shared images of the toy-drive along with the tweets.

What lies ahead for Rick Ware Racing?

At the moment, the team has only one confirmed seat which belongs to Josh Bilicki in the #15 car. However, he is expected to share the ride with another driver, who is yet to be confirmed. Additionally, the organisation has to confirm who will be driving the #51 car for the 2022 Cup Series season.

Of course, one can expect Cody Ware to fill up the #51 seat or he could share the #15 seat with Bilicki. On the other hand, Rick Ware Racing could be spoilt for choice in terms of driver candidates. This is because they had a fair number of racers sharing the wheel for both cars. One thing is for sure, Bilicki will be hoping to race competitively once again for the outfit.
