As the green flag dropped for the championship-deciding race, tension filled the air. And the roar of the engines reverberated throughout the stadium. It was a test of skill, strategy, and nerves, with every lap carrying the weight of the championship dream.

Blaney, who had peeked just at the right time in the playoffs, proved that he had the mettle to secure the title. Throughout the race, he maintained his composure, making strategic moves when needed and ensuring that his Mustang stayed at the front of the pack.

During the first stage, the Team Penske driver steadily made up places from his starting position in P15 and never looked back. He raced Larson for the 5th spot for the initial 30 laps in stage 2 until he passed him to become the second leader of the final 4 drivers after William Byron. He ultimately took over William Byron on lap 212 in the third stage to take the lead of the race and controlled the race beautifully to claim his first Cup Series title in his first-ever Championship 4 appearance.

However, Kyle Busch spun around at lap 276 to bring out the final caution of the race that shuffled Kyle Larson up front behind race leader Ross Chastain. Blaney and Larson went into an epic battle, which saw Ryan Blaney come out on top with 19 to go and hold the 2nd spot to claim the title.
