“This Blows NASCAR Away”- Kyle Larson’s Close Fought Wado Battle With Superman Leaves Fans in Awe

Kyle Larson just had one of his best race finishes. But the surprising part is, it wasn’t even in NASCAR. In fact, the 2021 Cup Series champion just had one of his best performances in a Dirt Super Late Model Race.

Although he couldn’t come out as the winner, he managed to convince his fans that some races are better than NASCAR.

At the Dirt Super Late Model race at Vado in the 2023 Wild West Shootout, Larson had a full-on battle with Jonathan Davenport for the win. And the two competitors blew NASCAR in the water, displaying some serious pace from Larson, and even better defense from Davenport. They both went at it in full force, switching between first and second. But of course, Davenport’s defense turned out to be stronger as he came out as the winner.

Even though Larson lost, it was a thrill to watch them go after each other. And the fans had no idea how to react either.

Fans preferred Kyle Larson racing in Dirt Super Late Model more than NASCAR

After seeing Larson defeated and the 18-lap-long fight, fans were blown away by how fun it really was to see them race so hard. The duo’s fight wasn’t stopped or greatly influenced by backmarkers either, which is impressive. Clearly, the fan reactions caught the essence as some fans even said, “Honestly, this blows NASCAR away”

The fans went on even further while complimenting the race.

“A sprint car guy, I don’t follow late models much. That said, this was the best late model race I’ve seen. I’m sure there have been many more that were even better. But ………. this is #1 for me.”

“Wow…that was….well, some of the best driving I’ve seen in many years!!!”
