The good news keeps coming Toni Breidinger’s way. Last week, the 24-year-old announced that she is returning to the #25 Camry of Venturini Motorsports for the 2024 ARCA Menards Series. In recent news, Breidinger is headed to the Daytona International Speedway. Truck Series team Tricon Garage has availed her services for the Daytona 200, marking her fourth start in the competition.

Toni Breidinger’s #1 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro will be sponsored by the energy drink brand Celsius. Celsius has extended its partnership with Breidinger to her #25 ride in the ARCA Menards as the primary marketing partner at Daytona and associate sponsorship for the other 19 races on the schedule. Having collaborated with Spire Motorsports and Kaulig Racing earlier, Breidinger’s addition significantly boosts the company.

Her partnership with Tricon Garage has been rewarding. In last year’s Truck Series race at the Kansas Speedway, Breidinger finished 15th, breaking the record for the highest-placed female debut. She has started in three Truck Series races so far, recording 2 top-20 finishes, which is a commendable number considering the upgrade in the level of competition.

Toni Breidinger will also make history at Daytona after being the first female driver to run two races in the Daytona 500 week. Following the Fresh from Florida 250 on February 16, she will race in the Daytona 200 on Friday.

Celsius’ presence is one of the primary reasons behind this deal. The company has partnered with Corey LaJoie, Zane Smith, Michael McDowell, and AJ Allmendinger in a list of notable NASCAR drivers. With Spire Motorsports’ ambitions of expanding operations in the Cup Series materializing, Celsius’ return to the team has added more value to the agreement.

Similarly, Breidinger has shone on social media. She has been a successful model and featured for Victoria’s Secret, Gap, and Aritzia. Her social media presence is no joke, with more than five million followers, making her one of the most followed NASCAR drivers. That has propelled her to the good books of manufacturing partner Toyota Racing Development.

Breidinger has pinned her hopes on Toyota

Last year, Toyota Racing Development announced the recruitment of Toni Breidinger to its driver development program. There might be some wishful thinking along these lines, but looking at how TRD has developed promising talents recently, it is worth a try. Breidinger has even represented the manufacturer in some of its commercials in the States.

In 2023, Breidinger had a streak of five top-10 finishes in the post-June half of the season. With her TRD partnership looking like an eventual gateway to the Truck Series, the youngster has not hidden her excitement from the public either.

“Working with Toyota has been great,” Breidinger said. “They have great development teams like Venturini Motorsports, which I have learned a lot from, and a great truck program. They’ve been great on and off the track. They have a great training facility that we all go to, which helps us prepare for race day. There’s a lot of work that goes into it behind the scenes that a lot of people don’t realize. They have a great program for us from nutrition to training to mental health and the simulator.”

Her career arc will be quite interesting to observe. VM owner Billy Venturini has also put his faith in Toni Breidinger to find her element and improve in the ARCA circuit. After all, driving for the competition’s winningest team also demands some caliber.
