NASCAR drivers attract millions of fans due to their motor prowess. However, charming racers like Joey Logano can make fans fall for their looks as well. Hence, it comes as no surprise that a NASCAR journalist strongly suspected a Versace model to be Logano.

Fans also gathered to partake in the interesting discussion- especially because the model looks like a distant cousin brother of Logano.

Is Joey Logano in the modeling world?

Jeff Gluck, NASCAR reporter for The Athletic, brewed a storm on the internet by sharing a screenshot post from another user’s profile. He said, “OK wait…what!? This isn’t Logano’s face? I actually thought this guy might have photoshopped Joey into this, so I went and found the actual ad. Nope, it’s real…and this is some dude named Antonio.”

The original post carried the caption, “Keep seeing this ad on here, why does this look like @joeylogano 🤣”. 

Joey Logano may be a looker, but he did not slip from the track to the ramp at any point in his career. Yes, we checked. As per Autoweek, he recently claimed he has a delicate balance between his personal and professional lives. So it is not likely that he has time for a fling in the fashion industry.

Fans go wild over the ‘Italian’ connection

The Twitter post by Gluck has set off a whirlwind of reactions among fans. Some have referred to the Italian looks: “Probably a long-lost cousin. Joey’s name DOES end in a vowel…”

One fan even had a crazy theory, “It very well could be though. Looks to be isolated from the fans and not signing autographs.”

“It’s like the Mid-Atlantic Modified racer, Michael Altobelli always says in his victory lane interviews: “There are two types of people: Italians, and those who wanna be.” 🤪” 

Another X user commented that this is not the first time a Joey lookalike has sprung up on the internet. 

Some fans are just awestruck by the sheer resemblance. “I don’t have photoshop skills man, it’s just been on my feed all week and every damn time I’m like “Holy hell that’s Joey Logano if he went a different route” 🤣”
