“What a Off-Season Is”- Samantha Busch Mentally Prepares Herself as Husband Kyle Busch and Son Start Their Racing Again

A NASCAR racer is never on an off-season right? While the name may suggest taking an off but two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion, Kyle Busch has been onto some antics of his own. Busch’s wife Samantha who has been keeping up with them for more than a decade has shed light on what an off-season for the Busch family looks like.
Samantha’s sneak peek into the break period suggested that the Buschs are certainly a close-knit family. They like to spend some quality time together but are never far away from racing, at least that’s the message Samantha is trying to convey in her recent Instagram post.

The 2023 season has been one heck of a roller coaster ride for Kyle Busch. From racing under a new banner to selling off his Truck Series team to Spire, it has been a bumpy ride for Busch in 2023 and therefore this off-season was that much more important for the 38-year-old to take a step back, spend time with his family and gear up for the upcoming season.
Samantha knows a thing or two about how an off-season actually works out. Despite last season’s experience being quite an absorbing one, perhaps there’s only one way you can recover from it, and that is by peddling forward. Samantha recently posted a few pictures of their failed off-season with a caption.
She posted, “Back to the track for the Busch Family! Not sure my nerves are ready but this one is moving up classes this year! Also if you all are wondering what we’ve been doing this off season it been setting up the new shop and Tulsa prep 😅 I’m not sure my hubs knows what a off season is 🤣”

Racing surely runs through the blood of the Busch family and Kyle’s son Brexton is a perfect example of that. As if one racer from the family was not enough to give Samantha the extra nerves, another one is climbing the ranks to add to the family’s track prestige.

At eight years of age, Brexton is certainly continuing the family legacy. As a third-generation driver and from his very first race win at Mountain Creek Speedway, it was evident that he was quickly going to climb the ranks and aspire to be a champion driver just like his dad.
Brexton has already shown signs of promise by winning his first junior title at the Saturday Beginner Box Stock Division at Millbridge Speedway. The young racer has the best mentor in his father, while his mom Samantha will have another race freak to notch up her nerves for the better. The young prodigy will be in action next at the Tulsa dirt track as Samantha mentioned.
