It’s no secret that the off-season has the community begging for any form of racing action. Whether it’s Dale Earnhardt Jr participating in the Mooncar 24 sim race or Richard Petty sharing his favorite meal on YouTube, the NASCAR stars have got us covered with wholesome winter break shenanigans.

But it isn’t just the drivers having fun sharing what they get up to when they aren’t tearing it up on the tarmac. NASCARonNBC shared a hilarious video of the iconic announcer, Mike Bagley, making an impression on the Motor Racing Network radio broadcasts while commentating over a race. But this race wasn’t one involving cars!

The iconic commentator treats fans to a four-legged race!

On the contrary, the racers making the community go wild in the comment section were three dogs zooming around a swimming pool! Kicking things off in high gear, the video starts by following a small dog named Louie, chasing down another by the name of Lexi, who has the lead as the pair sprint around the backyard.

Mike Bagley kicked things off with a bang, sharing his effortless commentary, “Here they come; they’ve completed lap number five. You’ve got Lexi in the lead, Louie trying to track her down. Here’s Louie to the inside; he’ll, back away, and oh!” And just like that, a major incident occurs! Louie gets tagged by the third dog, who seems to not be interested in racing, and loses out on some momentum but quickly gets back up to speed.

The race continues to get intense, with Bagley chiming in, “Millie get’s in the way, they make contact! Here again, Lexi leading out of turn number three, here comes Louie trying to shut it down.” While Louie manages to get closer and closer, the checkered flag is raised right before a move can be made! Mike Bagley concluded, “Checkered flag in the air, and Lexi will win by five dog lengths!”

The community missed Bagley’s voice. Many fans chimed in to share their delight when they heard his voice commenting over a seemingly unrelated video.
