Gamer Paul George Divulges “First Excuse” for Noobs In Call of Duty

Paul George and his crew of Podcast with P are back once again to discuss something that’s gaining worldwide attention. And it’s not the NBA. An avid gamer, George is excited about the trailer release of GTA VI. Speaking about the interesting new features, PG13 brings also our attention to ‘Call of Duty‘. He then discloses how to figure out a newbie in COD.

Paul’s interest in gaming runs deep. So much so that he had partnered with Nike to produce a sneaker line in the original gray color of the PlayStation console. On to the pointer!

Paul George reveals what COD ‘noobs’ would say

To all the COD fans out there, Paul George brings our attention to a classic one-liner that a newbie would say when playing Call of Duty. Talking about the trailer release of GTA VI, Dallas Rutherford confesses that he is a COD fan. While Jackie Long wasn’t enthusiastic about it as much as Rutherford, the two had gotten together for a game the other day.

Talking about the same, he further says that they had three kills. George pounces on it immediately and says, “A whole 20 minutes of gaming, he had three kills. And do y’all want to know why? … He said, “I was snipin’.” That’s the first excuse when you don’t got that many kills.” Talk about emotional damage!

Long, an actor, producer, and most recently, a voice actor for Grand Theft Auto 5, makes a cameo appearance in the latest version of the same. Unfortunately, he isn’t the best at COD. But Paul’s love for gaming started way before he was in the NBA.

George’s love for video games started when he was eight or nine. He would play with his uncle and his friends. They were struck by young Paul’s skills that managed to overpower them every time. Of course, it wasn’t just video games that he beat them in. Any and every sports activity that caught his eye, Paul would be at the forefront.

Once he decided that basketball was his way of life, Paul decided to use the skills he acquired from gaming on the court as well. But aside from these two, another facet that was always part of his life was Nike. Today, he has a shoe deal with his favorite brand of kicks. Growing up, he was obsessed with PlayStation, like many other kids of the generation. He still loves PS but is slowly making the transition to PC. And when an opportunity came along that enabled him to collaborate with them, he took it.

The day when PS and Nike announced their joint collaboration for a one-of-a-kind sneaker line inspired by Paul George, he knew that dreams do come true. His Twitter bio, “Don’t tell me the sky is the limit when there are footprints on the moon!”, is a perfect example of the 8x All-Star’s progress over the years.
