James Harden is on the lookout

Exactly one year from today, fans highly appreciated Harden’s interest in signing with the Philadelphia 76ers after he agreed to take a $15M pay cut. His sole reason for taking the bump in the pay was to allow the team to sign better players for the 2022-23 campaign. And if we only consider the regular season, their season was a success, but skilled players don’t play for just those 82 games in a season. They play for a successful postseason run, ultimately winning a championship.

On the other hand, his potential replacement for the Philadelphia side, Zach LaVine, is exceptionally great off the ball. Fans know his skills for immaculate shooting and driving the ball to the basket right on time!

It would be best for him to play a role similar to Klay Thompson. The 2x NBA All-Star has improved his defense. However, he’s not the best defender, but he can hold his ground against opponents.

His major struggles, however, are rooted in him recognizing plays quickly but reacting slowly to them. Because of this, he’s unable to help his teammates often. And according to the executive vice president of the Chicago Bulls, LaVine is working with a player development coach to fix this in LA. It remains to be seen what his position on the team looks like now!
