The Washington Wizards recently announced that their head coach Wes Unseld Jr. will shift to a front-office adviser position. This changeover follows Unseld’s time as head coach, during which he went 77-130 since his hiring on July 17, 2021. In October, the team secured an option on Unseld’s contract and extended it until the 2024-25 season.

Now, as he begins his new job, Unseld reflects on his experience as head coach and looks forward to contributing to the organization’s success in a new way. However, this decision has completely startled the fans to the core and the fans are unanimously voting Adrian Griffin to be the next head coach.

One fan got excited after hearing this news and wrote, “Adrian griffin szn in DC🔥” Another fan suggested to the Wizards’ head office, “Go ahead and get Adrian Griffin as the coach”

One fan is very confident in Griffin’s skills and said, “Adrian Griffin turns this team around 100%”

One fan even went on to criticize the Wizards’ head office by saying, “Griffin with this seam WOULD OF FIT.. Washington has one shirty front office tho.”

The Wizards, who are 7-36 this season and sit just ahead of the Detroit Pistons in the Eastern Conference standings, face tough obstacles on the floor. Unseld’s shift to the front office marks a new chapter for their squad, with an expectation of new leadership to bring about good improvements and lead the way for a brighter future. After receiving the promotion, even Unseld expressed his gratitude for his time as a head coach of the Washington Wizards franchise.
