The Golden State Warriors are on a hot streak. They won their 6th consecutive game tonight after blowing out the Houston Rockets 133-110. It was a crucial game for Stephen Curry and Co., as the Rockets have been threatening to take their play-in spot. Steph made sure to lead the Warriors to victory as he finished with 29 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists. Virally, he was thrilled to finally get the support of the officials amid the recent refereeing controversies.

Steph has recently found it hard to get calls from the referees in his favor. So, the Warriors superstar was super-hyped when the officials called a shooting foul on the Rockets during his layup attempt. Steph immediately raised both hands after he heard the whistle and yelled in celebration. Even the announcers were amused and delighted that Steph finally got a chance to shoot some free throws. The veteran ended up draining both resulting free throws and finished the game with a perfect 9 of 9 from the charity stripes.

Free throws are a big part of what makes Stephen Curry so lethal on offense. He has been the most efficient free-throw shooter in the league this season. Steph is shooting a whopping 92.4% from the free throw line, the second-highest shooting percentage of his career. So, it is understandable why he has been so frustrated by the officials not calling fouls in his favor.

A similar incident occurred during Tuesday’s game against the Dallas Mavericks. The NBA veteran clearly got hit in the chest by the Mavs defenders during a layup attempt, but the officials let the play continue.

The no-call infuriated Steph as he gestured towards the official while running back on defense. He finally let his emotions out tonight with his slightly over-the-top celebration!

NBA World reacts to Stephen Curry’s animated celebration

This fan said, “Rookie nobodies get more calls than him it’s actually so f**kin annoying.” According to this fan, several players who have not even established themselves in the league get more calls from the officials than Steph, a future Hall of Famer.
