The Timberwolves dominated the court as they won over the Clippers tonight, with a score of 118-100. Things went haywire when Kawhi Leonard, their best defender, went down in what was announced later to be thoracic spasms. He exited the game in the first quarter and even though everyone hoped for his return, he was later seen leaving the arena in street clothes.

But none of this matters to Anthony Edwards, as he seems to be enjoying the spoils of the win. When asked what he saw out on the court, Edwards had a hilarious answer. “Too many mismatches.”

When the reporter asked if he could elaborate further on what he meant, the Ant-Man said that the Clippers’ best defender had just gone down. He pretty much said it in the way one would say that the fruit is ripe for plucking. “I hit one shot and just got going.” And that’s what he did.

Edwards finished the night with a game-high 37 points, four assists, and eight rebounds. Even with the big man Karl-Anthony Towns out and the other big, Rudy Gobert, heading to the locker room in the second half, the Wolves managed to keep their ship steady. Gobert had just returned from a one-game absence, but he injured his ribs tonight.

Not Michael Jordan, but 2 Former Teammates Remind Shaquille O’Neal of Anthony Edwards

The latest updates on the French center reveal that the X-rays do not show any damage, but Gobert has difficulty moving and breathing in his locker room. Losing another big is not ideal for the Minnesota Timberwolves with just 16 games left for the playoffs.

Anthony Edwards might have had his fun with LA, but social media is in splits at his expense

Nothing escapes the watchful eyes of the Internet. That was proven once again tonight as Edwards entered the second half a minute later. The second time this season for the ANT to do so, X users did not let this go down easily. Comparing Edwards to Paul Pierce, social media had a blast.

The former Celtics icon became really famous (the unwanted kind) for apparently taking a bathroom break during Game 1 of the 2008 NBA Finals. Apparently, in 2019, he admitted that he did indeed have to go. But that still didn’t explain why the wheelchair was required. But since Pierce didn’t see it fit to answer the very honest doubts of his teammates, everyone was left to wonder, with the majority moving the motion for it being No. 2.

In a more recent interview, though, Pierce denied anything of such nature. The Celtics legends of the old sat down for a tête-à-tête with young stars of the contending team. Jaylen Brown couldn’t stop himself from asking what really happened. And that’s when “The Truth” shut down everything ever discussed about it.

Well, Anthony Edwards hasn’t given any explanation for his absence yet. Let’s hope it’s nothing more serious than avoiding soiling his pants.
