Ayesha Curry, known for her warm family moments and festive cheer, is gearing up for an extra-special Christmas season. This time, it’s four times the joy, with 2024 being Baby Caius Chai Curry’s first season of joy and sharing. In a recent interview, Ayesha opened up about how this year’s holiday traditions are set to be more nostalgic and heartwarming than ever before.

“I think that’s going to be really, really exciting and nostalgic. And I’m such a crier, I’m sure I’ll cry, but I think that’s great,” she said in an exclusive with PEOPLE. For the wife of Stephen Curry, embracing these tender moments with her family of six is what makes the season truly magical.
While Baby Chai might be a little too young to fully grasp the festive chaos, his older siblings – Riley, Ryan, and Cannon – aren’t. “He’s still little, so he’s not going to know what the heck’s going on, but I think the other kids will be able to build those memories,” the mother of four added.

That said, it seems the Sweet July founder did not face the same struggles to adjust to motherhood as she did previously. In yet another exclusive with US Weekly, Ayesha Curry shared her experience with Caius. “I think two to three was a little chaotic for us, and four has been pretty breezy. … Just in light of where we are right now in the world, being able to bring this beautiful life into the world. I think in and of itself, having that mindset of how grateful and how incredible and miraculous it is, is enough for me to keep me going.”

Raised in a God-fearing atmosphere and married to a man who holds spiritual values just as high as hers, it really isn’t surprising that ultimately, it’s all about gratitude and praise to the One above for the Curry family. Hence, the month of December holds that much more significance for this wonderful family. But Christmas wouldn’t be complete without some good old Christmas traditions.
And with the Currys, nothing is without its own unique twist.

Ayesha Curry is excited for Baby Chai to join in on family tradition for Christmas
One of the Curry family’s most cherished traditions is a unique spin on Christmas card: recording a carol every year and pressing it onto vinyl. This heartfelt gesture not only captures the festive spirit but also memorable moments. “We’re going to have family songs,” she explained.
This year, their vinyl project holds even more significance as they will have Caius join them. Of course, as the Domaine Curry co-founder noted, her youngest will be cooing on this year’s track. “We started recording a Christmas carol every year and putting it on vinyl. That’s kind of our Christmas card now,” Ayesha further added.
