During a conversation with Joe La Puma at the Nike World Basketball Festival, Booker revealed Jordan’s impact on his childhood. He said, “That was my whole childhood. I always say I wish I had the shoe game that I had as a baby, as a teenager. Cause my mom and my dad had me right.” He added further, “I was born in 1996, so that’s Jordan 11s, Jordan 12s. So all my baby pictures, I’m flooded out. But it got harder as I got older”.
Booker’s love for Jordan’s is immense, but Booker’s practice of wearing Jordans during NBA games has come to an end due to his recent contract with Nike. D-Book recently signed a contract extension with Nike that promises a signature shoe line from Booker.
