The nasty loss to the New York Knicks left a lot to be desired for the Clippers’ fans. But if we look at individual efforts, then James Harden did a great job. Coming off of six months of no basketball, Harden could have been rusty. But he put his best foot forward and displayed a convincing performance. It was a promise that if he is given time, he will come back stronger with the team.

The LA Clippers found themselves fumbling around the court. The halftime saw the Clippers lead by four points, but it was too short-lived. By the fourth quarter, the Knicks outscored them 35-21. If it weren’t for Harden, Leonard, and Westbrook, LA would have reached a new low.

Will James Harden be present for the Clippers face-off against the Nets?

With Mann questionable, Boston Jr., and Plumlee out, the Clippers will need every card in the deck to square off against the Brooklyn Nets. So, the short answer is yes.

Harden’s history with the Nets is not unknown. It was one of his infamous exits. Though in the long run, it seems Harden isn’t entirely to blame for wanting out. Soon after, the Nets also traded Irving and Durant at their request. But not before Irving’s stern stand created a lot of tension in what could have been a lethal trio of the league. Anyway, the past is past.

The Beard that they will be facing now is just as dangerous. The Knicks game saw him make 6 of 9 shots, six assists, and three rebounds. And this is Harden in rusty form. Or as he likes to say, “winging it”. There is no doubt that James Harden will be a force to be reckoned with soon enough. But the Nets do have a bone to pick with the Clippers.

Will the Nets fall to a rejuvenated Clippers team?

This time, they are coming with a healthy Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, Russell Westbrook, and the latest addition, James Harden. It will be an interesting match, to say the least, considering the Nets dreamed of creating the next Big 3 with Harden, Irving, and Durant.

And here he is now. Playing with a group of NBA’s best veterans and his “dream team”. The Nets will be using Mikal Bridges to lead their offense. Having a healthy Ben Simmons has also provided Brooklyn a much-needed leverage.

Cam Thomas is another one of their star players. Averaging 28.7 points since the regular season started, Thomas will prove to be crucial for the Nets, seeing as they are once again without a few of their key players.
