Can Andrew Schulz take on JJ Reddick and Caitlin Clark one-on-one? He believes he can. His one-on-one with former NBA player Jay Williams is what Schulz provides as an example. The hilarious incident took place nearly a decade ago, but a win is a win.

On his latest episode on the Flagrant podcast with Akaash Singh, Schulz had Reddick as the guest, and he used the opportunity to boast about his hoop skills. While the “White Chocolate” and Schulz game saw the former dominate him on the court, all Schulz had to do was score one basket. And he did, which automatically translated to a win.

Apparently, that’s material evidence enough to prove that he’s never lost to an NBA player. When Reddick asks Andrew how much he would need to beat him, Schulz, without missing a beat, said, “I’ll beat you straight up.”

Once again, Andrew Schulz returns to the topic of Williams. The former controversial point guard was indeed one of the best prospects out of Duke. So, for Schulz to beat him one-on-one, albeit, after a long time of trying, means something. Or so he says. Of course, when Andrew Schulz opens his mouth, you have to take it with a pinch of salt. It is his job, after all.

But Schulz was not done by a mile. After a few minutes of talking about his competitiveness, he was asked if he thought he could take on Caitlin Clark. And he said, “Yeah, well, I do think I could beat any female basketball player.”

Andrew Schulz might be an insult comedian, black comedian, surreal comedian, or the ‘n’ number of genres he dabbles in, but this remark, however, could really rub the wrong way with at least a few. Hopefully, they can appreciate and be understanding of his art and leave it at that. Or he would end up being the new Kenny Smith.

In 2015, Andrew Schulz and Charlamagne Tha God had Jay Williams on The Brilliant Idiots podcast. He was talking about the fatal motorcycle accident in 2003 that put a break on his NBA career and his life in general. It was here that Schulz thought it would be a good idea to challenge him to a pick up game.

Not too long after that, they decided to have the epic showdown in NYC where all Schulz had to do was score one bucket to win the bet. As mentioned above, the former All-American gave a run for Andrew’s money as he tried to score one over Williams.

He finally managed to drop one. But Jay Williams made him sweat it out real bad. So in a roundabout kind of way, we could say that Schulz’s one-on-one record is solid. What do you make of his remarks? Will he get the same result if he were to go against JJ Reddick or Caitlin Clark? Drop your comments below!
